From One Witch to Another: Gratitude

A book was published in 1910 called “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace Wattles. I believe that by “Rich” he meant in all things: rich in relationships, rich in exuberance for life, rich in ethics, rich in health, rich in friendships, and of course rich in wealth to be able to do the things that elevate us in body, mind, and spirit.

Wattles makes a profound statement, “First, you believe that there is one Intelligent Substance, from which all things proceed; second, you believe tha this Substance gives you everything you desire; and third, you relate yourself to it by a feeling of deep and profound GRATITUDE.”

You relate to the sacred by feeling gratitude. By the way, you can search the web for a free download of his books, and I highly recommend them!

What are you grateful for today?

Blessed be,

Love your book trailer!! Makes you want to know more and take action! Can’t
wait to see the unfolding of the story from one book to another….

Took me a while but finally followed through on your suggestion and read the
    Wattles books. PROFOUND!

I just loved his ‘diet plan’ in Well Being…

    1. What to eat? Eat local grown and rasied products, as natural as possible
    2. When to Eat? When you are hungry! When you have achieved an ‘earned
    hunger’! What a concept!
    3. How to eat? Liquify each mouth full every time before swallowing. The
    food tastes more!
    4. How much to eat? Eat as much as you need until you no longer feel hunger –
hint – it does not take much!

Follow these 4 rules and the weight just melts away, and if you stray, you can
get right back on track the next meal or day.

    Thanks Sal,

SOGR and his other two books (also on the website for free) are a Wonderful
resource on how to discipline the mind to create the reality you wish.

I think it is great that you refer to it.

This book is nothing short of inspiring — and I think it should be mandatory
reading in College or even High School. Wattles was a visionary who could
forsee Air travel and other major developments of the 20th Century back in 1910
    – just amazing.

Great Reference and lead, Sal, always enjoy your posts, keep them coming.
